Preparations being made for the next team coming in. Teams provide trees to help re-forest and provide food in the communities they work in. 100 trees to be planted by the team. Agronomy students that have learned English go out with the teams and show the community how to plant and take care of the trees so they make it to maturity. Food Distribution today in our community. We made up 200 bags, basically two meals for a family of five. There is no easy way to give out food. Pushing, shoving, lewd comments - it's never enough. We will never understand the desperation and the need. But through the blessings of others we were able to provide food to 200 families in the community. As you know, Haiti was devastated with a 7.3 earthquake on January 12, 2010. There is not a person here in Haiti that was not affected by the destruction and the loss. Homes and lives were taken in a matter of 40 seconds. Over 200,000 bodies were buried in a mass grave with no identification. Dear friends and prayer warriors, It has been another incredibly blessed year for me in Haiti. I returned a month later than usual this year due to shoulder surgery.
